A. With forms, you can easily gather information from your clients. You can use forms to help you plan sessions, take inventory about specific areas of your client's life, gather background information, and more. You aren't limited to a certain number of fields, and you have a variety of response types. No fax machines, no clunky e-mail attachments, no struggling with Word templates. When you begin a form exchange, you can add a custom message to the automatic notification. You can even tell CoachEase to remind your coachee to complete the form before it is due.

A. No! CoachEase stores every Form you create and you can use and modify every form to use again and again with as many clients as you want.

A. If you work like we do, email is (for better or worse) central to the way you work. CoachEase isn't going to change that. CoachEase acts as the hub for your coaching business. It puts all the information for each client right in front of you; important people in your client's life, actionable items, notes from past sessions, and form responses. A. CoachEase uses the industry standard iCal format. By subscribing to your iCal, sessions in CoachEase show up in your existing time management system. You can find the link to your iCal feed on your Coach Dashboard. Ask your vendor how to subscribe to an iCal feed. For google calendar, a favorite at CoachEase, the instructions are 2 steps long

A. Yes. Everything except the session timer is useful for coaches, regardless of how they conduct their sessions.

A. No. CoachEase (and the rest of the internet) is best enjoyed via broadband, but it is not a requirement.

No. You may find some things that say they do what CoachEase offers, but only CoachEase brings it all together in one place, offers banking-level security and makes an off-site backup of your information every 6 hours. A. If you send emails to your clients, you're already "using the Internet" to share client data, right?

Still, we understand that using the Internet as a primary information processing platform may seem like a departure and a little "riskier." And we deeply appreciate the importance of your concerns about the integrity of your client information. We coach, too, and promise confidentiality to our clients.

In many ways, as you will see from the thorough discussion that follows, CoachEase is a much more secure way of doing business than what your likely doing in your practice right now. In short, CoachEase assures that no one gets access to either your proprietary information or client data but those whom you invite.

Given all the publicity and rightful concern over data security these days, we have put more than a dutiful amount of time and energy into assuring the safety and integrity of the information entrusted to us. Candidly, we could have launched CoachEase a couple of months earlier with good but somewhat "less robust" (as the computer guys say) data security measures than those we are deploying. After all, one might argue, we're not storing your clients' credit card numbers or other financial information. From a "threat assessment" perspective, CoachEase is a pretty "low value target" for hackers. Translation: No one would want to steal the information we're protecting. But we don't find that line of thinking acceptable!

We've invested the time and energy to assure that both our human and technical systems reflect current best practices for information integrity in a commercial environment. That's why you'll see us refer to "banking-level encryption" -- that means the information you store or transmit via CoachEase is protected by the same kind of high-tech security measures that banks use for their online transactions! Impact: only you -- and the people you authorize -- have access to your coaching materials because your information is accessed on a special secure connection, and protected by unique log-ins and passwords.

TWO LEVELS OF SECURITY

Remember, there are two types of "data security." The first is protecting your information against people who don't have a right to it. And the second is keeping your data always available to you, protecting it against threats such as fire, flood, and other calamities.

Not only does CoachEase use all the state-of-the-art safeguards to keep your data accessible only to you, we've got you covered on that second security front as well. We safely store your information for safe-keeping the same way the "big boys" protect precious data.

You know that millions and millions of consumers trust Amazon.com. That's why we use their servers for the safe-keeping of your client data. Several times a day, our system automatically backs-up all your data and files onto servers operated and maintained by none other than Internet commerce pioneer and leader Amazon.com. We made that arrangement so that your data would be in a safe, stable, secure environment.

CoachEase may well be the most secure choice you could make for your vital client data -- perhaps in many ways it's more secure than your home or office. We say that with no offense intended. Yet, the safeguards we use for CoachEase -- both for data protection and recovery -- far exceed those of virtually every coaching operation we know. Do you honestly know any coaches deploying better password-protected files, firewalls, data encryption, several-times-daily off-site back-ups and the like to secure their client data? (Moreover, if you're a coach on a Window's platform, your computer is far more vulnerable to viruses and trojan attacks than our servers...)

Finally, as our privacy agreement should have indicated to you, we take the trust you place in us very seriously. In the final analysis, we know that we are asking you to trust us with important information, just as you ask your clients to trust you.
