About Us

CoachEase was designed by Aaron Blohowiak, a Philadelphia-based independent Internet software designer with a degree in psychology.
Aaron began working on CoachEase after watching his dad, Don, an executive coach in Princeton, New Jersey, struggle with the administrivia of coaching.
Don tried the available coaching software but found it clunky. "It was far from either intuitive or elegant," he says.
Aaron saw a natural opportunity to marry the power of the Internet with the needs of coaches and their clients to connect and exchange information in an easy and timely way.
"Coaching is all about connecting with people, and the Internet is a great way to make that happen," Aaron says.
Father and son perceived a great opportunity to bring their respective talents together in service to coaches around the world using the web.
"I don't think it's overstatement," says Don, who's working on his doctorate in human and organization development, "to say that CoachEase exists to support the people whose important work is to support people working to fulfill their potential."
Aaron, who has worked on software projects for a wide variety of clients, is the majority partner in the CoachEase business. "It's not uncomfortable giving my dad orders," he says. "As long as he does what I tell him," he adds with a smile.
"We have designed CoachEase to work as state-of-the-art web software," Aaron says. "We wanted to deliver to coaches a software service that incorporated high-end design features that were both practical and fun to use. We feel good about what we've delivered and even better about the fact that CoachEase evolves every day. That's one of the great things about web-based software. Every time you log on, you get the most recent version with latest enhancements."
Working together on the intense design and deployment of CoachEase didn't drive a wedge between father and son. "We learned to work together despite our differences in work styles, but we didn't learn to appreciate each other's music," Aaron admits.
Both men enjoy kayaking, hiking, and tossing a ball to Don's dog.
